The material for this Celebration Package was based on reprinted information from an email sent by John Boozer (President of Black Diamond Summit, Inc.) which directs all BDS 1st Call Members to respond to the call for financial support to the Vulcan Society, Inc. FDNY, the Black professional fire fighters chapter of New York.

A trust fund has been established by the Vulcan Society to aid the children of its missing members and to build a memorial in front of the chapter's office in New York. We know that many of you have generously contributed to the call for relief help in the past two weeks. Now, we are asking you to dig a little deeper in support of our own community.

Important: Please note "BDS 1st Call Member" on your check. When you book your 2002 Diamonds of Distinction cruise stateroom, BDS will contribute an amount equal to your contribution to the trust fund, up to $100. Additional contributions from "The Cruise" and other BDS activities during the year will support our Black Fire Fighters.

We know that if you can't mail a check on Tuesday, you will as soon as financially able. Black Diamond Summit Tours is appealing to our 7,000+ 1st Call members to join us in support of Black Fire Fighters in New York. BDS will also appeal to our many supplier partners to contribute and we encourage you to form efforts in support of the trust fund.
